The medical football follies of 1967 and the period still reflect how leaders of America\u2019s foremost medical associations, including editors of trusted publications like\u00a0<\/em>Journal of the American Medical Association<em>, sidestep the blatant violation of <a href=\"http:\/\/fourwallspublishing.com\/BlogMChaney\/?p=35\">Hippocratic ethos<\/a> and assumption-of-risk doctrine that is juvenile collision football in this country. Currently, the billion-dollar question for headliner \u201cconcussion\u201d lawsuits remains: When did football officials understand the risk of <a href=\"http:\/\/fourwallspublishing.com\/BlogMChaney\/?p=657\">traumatic brain disease in their sport<\/a>\u00a0and did they properly inform players and families? But the relevant football question confronting most Americans, <a href=\"http:\/\/fourwallspublishing.com\/BlogMChaney\/?p=1399\">today and since the 1880s<\/a>, remains: <\/em>Should juveniles be banned from playing the tackle game?<em> Historic public information sheds light.
